Michael Jackson
This happened so quickly, and it's so interesting how all of a sudden it's the only thing on the news.
He was a messed up guy but he created some amazing things. Thoughts?

Thoughts? Even here in germany (and as I guess everywhere else in the world where american culture has taken over, at least in way the media functions), all of a sudden every kid age 8-60 is listening to Michael Jackson again! It's a huge publicity gag to make billions off a guy whose best days (which where really f**king good!!) were over when he suddenly became white...seriously I feel sorry for Michael...very sorry. What a tortured soul he must of been. For his sake, I hope he's really dead. The fact that his own sister says that he's worth even more money now that he's dead, says everything! And the worst part...the delusion of the masses is working so brilliantly well that ...their all gonna buy the "best of" and commemoration albums, their all reading the tabloids, watching the tv-shows and all talking as if they were the realest Michael Jackson fan ever, just because that's what you've got to be now to belong! Damn! It's too sad

Here is a quick thought:
The day after Michael Jackson's death brought many tributes through the mainstream presses. All across the country and around the world another type of tribute was happening in local bars and night clubs on Friday, June 26. Live bands and house DJ's from all backgrounds were stirring up even the smallest dive bar crowds to the bass line of "Billie Jean."
This one song from an artist who produced many hits has easily made it into the top 20 greatest popular songs. It becomes official when you witness a man in his late 20s, with a black eye, wearing a Pantera T-shirt, attempting the moonwalk and screaming "She thinks that I am the one. But the kid is not my son!"

I work in a music store, and I am sick to death of hearing about MJ's death.
I am a fan or his earlier stuff, but never actually owned any of his albums.

I was a giant fan of em when was a teenager. I loved every song and video. But than just grew older i suppose and this passion vanished. Anyway, he was a great man and brilliant musician. Finally, he's been left along in peace...

I will always remember his music, among the first I was able to say I was actually a fan of. I'm not really saddened by his death, mostly just a little shocked. I guess it was time for the walking corpse to actually be one.
