How I Met and Came To Love dredg

I have been a hardcore dredg fan since 2001, when I was first introduced to this unforgettable band through the guitarist of my old high school band. Of The Room was the first dredg song I ever experienced and I remember being awestruck at how different their sound was from anything I had heard previously. Whether it be Gavin's deep and soaring vocals, Dino's rare and intense drumming, Drew's solid rolling bass line, or Mark's complex and fluid guitar work, dredg has always been as unique as they are amazing. Each album they put out takes me on a new journey I never want to come back from. They have gone from unknown, to one of my favorite bands, to my favorite band, in a very short amount of time. Their live performances are compelling, overwhelming, and intimate to the point that I almost jizz my pants every time I witness them. Their music has helped me through a lot of trying times and I am extremely thankful for the groovy tunes that dredg produce.

2002 was about when I started listening to dredg, as well.
Saw the video for Same Ol' Road on Fuse and loved it.
After seeing that video, I picked up Leitmotif. That was the album that basically changed my ideas about music.
