blogs
Blogs huh?
I don't know if I've misunderstood something totally, but I find it quite weird to read about users' personal issues in the blogs. Things that could (/should) be left to personal diarys instead of web.
I'm just wondering what people are trying to acchieve on that? Empathy? Caring?
</whine>
Whatever their agenda, please remember that what you put in the web is not personal anymore.

We like to think of it as a fan community, a place to discuss anything you like.

strange conversation...i don't know what was so personal to get you all so hyped...but what's the point about getting worked up if somebody writes something personal? what's the point of being a member on any site and sending out "friend" requests if you all only want to talk about dredg and their art? how boring is that? is everyone on this site like a groupie or what, you all wanna get freaky with gavin because he has such nice curly hair? haha! if that's the case, somebody warn me and i'm outta here again... i'm not trying to say i want to share my personal issues with anyone here, but what's the big deal if someone does? it's not like you have to read it....tolerance and self-reflection please

Thanks for all the comments.
By "should be left to personal diaries" I did NOT mean everything besides Dredg and art related, but just things that you don't want to share with the public. Blogs offer everyone a great chance to have their thoughts heard, let's not turn them in to yellow press about our personal lives, ok? :)

i agree with you & Dcbtfoabaaposba.
the idea of a blog, to me, is for someone to write whatever the hell they want in a public forum for people to respond to. Does that mean they actually should?
no. i don't think it means that at all. certain things shouldn't be public....but being that it's their blog, i can save myself the aggravation of not agreeing with their practices by just not reading it.
However, in the context of this website, I think that some people should think about restricting their need to type a bit more. If this were their own website, as I stated, go ahead, write whatever the hell you want....but this isn't your little personal corner of the internet...it's a community site for a band....there needs to be a bit more thought that needs occur in some people's minds.
fortunately, it's pretty easy to tell which blog posts should be avoided from the titles they have....
look at that...i typed a lot
