Falling in Love...With The New Album!

I just took a first listen. Be prepared to be surprised. Even as a diehard Dredg fan, I'm not sure what to make of this. It is VERY different from anything they've ever done. It didn't grab me instantly like Pariah did but its hard to judge with only one listen. It IS indeed a very dark sounding album, especially compared to CWA or Pariah.

And yes, it leaked. I've been checking every day for the past 3 weeks and finally caught a copy. Of course, I am still BUYING the album when it comes out as should anyone else who that couldn't wait for a legit copy. Support these guys, please.

On a final note, the only thing I am certain that I am disappointed in is the fact that Dino isn't drumming on this album very much. He is one of the major reasons why I love this band so much and to lose that is a real disappointment. A lot of sampled drum tones.

I really love these guys and I hope that this album really grows on me. Don't expect this to be a 'typical' Dredg album. It certainly isn't.
