Covers
As I was listening to Supertramp earlier, I got to thinking that it would be really cool to hear a band like dredg cover one of their songs.
I then started thinking about the cover of Astronomy Domine they did for that Syd Barrett tribute album.
Has the band performed any other covers that have been released?
Anyway, post some links to some great covers you've heard by awesome bands. Or even awesome covers but otherwise terrible bands.

Hello by Lionel Richie, covered by Dredg. Pretty frickin great song and a great cover by the band. Wish we could hear that again. I remember seeing a really crappy video of it, probably from a phone. Played at Cafe Du Nord in San Francisco a few years ago.

Thrice doing Helter Skelter. Sounds purdy good live; I'm just hoping they put out a studio version at some point... -

That was at the Day One Symphony benefit concert. I'm going to ask David from Day One if he knows of any decent recordings. -

Quite alright. =)
No matter how my feelings for this band have changed over the years, I still think that System of a Down did an amazing cover of Snowblind by Black Sabbath.

RE: Covers
never seen Dredg do any covers at the shows I attended....but....I would love to see them put their own little twist on Teenager by Deftones. I could already see it.
