New Album on its way!!
Talk to Drew Saturday and he told me the new album is done they just need the artwork and it should be out soon!! I can't wait!

Wow, talk about expedited this time. Did he say anything else about it? So artwork, packaging, distribution, etc, early early 2011?!?

Quick indeed. I was kinda hoping for more studio footage like last time. It's fun watching them play. They must have really wanted to get this one out then.
Now I just need them to com eout with El Cielo and Catch Without Arms on Vynil :p

And ohh ya dude I would love to have catch and el cielo vinyls. I will definitely get the new album on vinyl if I can. Sometimes I wish Dredg would make a dvd, a high quality live dvd of a long ass set done sometime after the new album comes out. -

^ I agree, a dredg DVD would be pretty sweet but I think it'd be pretty boring if it was just a "long ass set". I'd want something along the lines of...I dunno...Pantera's "Watch it Go"?

You never know what can happen with an album, you can take 5-10 years and make a crappy LP or you can take 6mos to a year to make a masterpiece. Its all how it comes out of you.

i always want new dredg stuff but i'm scared to be disappointed
i know dredg since late 2007 but only a few songs and when ppd came out, they turned into my favourite band and since then they are THE SHIT for me so it's kinda new to wait for a dredg album. super excided! -

Well okay you're right, quality > quantity. But hey if it were a long ass set, it would still be good. I would love to see footage of an album played in it's entirety- because the leitmotif tour was like the best show i've ever experienced. I am just excited for the new album right now. To the person above me, Pariah was the first album I waited for and it was so awesome, you will listen to it so much haha. -

Agreed, I'm very excited... but also nervous. They like to experiment with the music they create rather make duplicate albums, which is great, however 'even though' I did listen to Pariah a lot, 9/10 times now I'll choose to listen to their original albums instead, which fit more with my moods. Regardless I'm looking forward to hearing what theme they have behind their new album. I like themes me :) -

Hey thanks Aaron, I've never seen this one but just got sucked in and watched the first two songs. Bookmarked! I meant more like something officially done by them that you can buy as a DVD, sort of a Live At The Fillmore 2 + DVD combo. Ya know, like a real concert dvd with bonus material and such. Just a thought though, that's not meant to be a complaint about something that I think is lacking. I'm enthralled for this new cd right now, I keep checking back here for news, I believe they said new songs would leak during this here season.
